Yepez

Yepez (he/him) is an AEA Actor and Dancer based out of New York City. He began his training at Performance Edge Dance Complex in South Florida. He continued his education at SUNY University at Buffalo earning a BFA Musical Theatre & BA Dance Dual Degree.

Favorite performance credits include: Cinderella & Escape to Margaritaville (Walnut Street Theatre), Grease (Royal Caribbean Cruise Line) Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Engeman Theatre), FAME en Español (GALA Hispanic Theatre), Newsies (Cortland Rep), In The Heights (Madison Theatre & MusiclFare), West Side Story (Short North Stage & Madison Theatre) Mamma Mia! (New Bedford Festival Theatre). He’s also danced in NYC shows for choreographers such as: Danielle Diniz, Talia Putrino, Mike Esperanza, Jeff Davis & more. As performer/teacher/choreographer, he finds the most joy in dance at the intersection of several styles: jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, salsa, jazz funk, & more.

As a teacher and choreographer, he has worked with various studios in South Florida, Western New York, and the NYC area. He’s excited to teach in the South Jersey/Philly area, a region which he’s quite fond of. Catch you in class!
