Lindsey Russo

Lindsey is a teacher, choreographer, and performer with 30 years of dance experience.

Her expertise in jazz and contemporary has taken her all over the U.S., landing her in two off-Broadway shows, as well as a season on FOX Television. Her works have won numerous choreography awards, as well as the "FDC People’s Choice" award in 2009.

The success of Lindsey's students is a testament to her teaching ability: Many of her students have gone on to work professionally. Two of her students were cast in Broadway shows playing Billy Elliot in “Billy Elliot the Musical”, and Matilda in “Matilda”. You can find another of her students hosting Teen Nick Top Ten's "Dancing with Amanda" on Nickelodeon alongside Nick Cannon, while another finished a world tour with Selena Gomez.

Lindsey attended the Southern New Jersey Academy of the Performing Arts, as well as the University of the Arts to further her dance education. She was chosen to be a dancer for the R&B recording artist Ashanti, as well as a dancer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

She has participated as a choreographer for dance teams and companies in the PA, NJ, and DE areas. Lindsey has also worked as an assistant to choreographer Kacy Combs on the "WILD" dance convention, and studied under the direction of the prestigious Pennsylvania Ballet’s “danseur noble” David Kloss .

Lindsey recently choreographed her first music video for an up-and-coming artist that will premier this year.

Lindsey has danced for both the NBA and the AFL as part of the Philadelphia 76ers Dancers, and the Philadelphia Soul Soulmates.

She teaches workshops and choreographs for multiple studios in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey area, and judges for numerous competitions throughout the US.
